Almost every European citizen is faced with the situation that English seems to be the language that comes closest to the idea of a "lingua franca", the easiest way to communicate with people from many different countries. However, in order to communicate successfully in a foreign language, intelligibility (or understandability) is crucial. The aim of this course is to practise and improve an understandable English pronunciation that helps to make communication easier. |
