Native Americans were already there upon the discovery of the continent by Europeans. Their cultures were underestimated and neglected for a long time. Fortunately, oral traditions and documents have carried on the legends, beliefs, and other traditions of these peoples.
We will be looking at some of the many different Native cultures of North America in the past and in the present. |
