This class will be taught in a digital format. At this stage it is unclear whether it will be possible to return to a format of classroom presence during the semester.
McLaughlin: The seminars focus on the teaching and learning of grammar and cover the grammar most likely to come up in English classes. Coursebook: Scott Thornbury's How to Teach Grammar.
McKenzie: This course will be taught online using Zoom. In order to participate you will need an internet connnection with a working microphone AND camera. There will be an input session each week so you will need to be available on the day and at the time you have enrolled for. In my case, Mondays 10.00-12.00.
The main focus is on a range of grammatical structures in order to improve each students understanding of their practical application. We will also be looking at methods of teaching grammar using Scott Thornbury's seminal study How to Teach Grammar. Most materials will be uploaded on learnweb.

Chichester: Wiley. The seminar will be taught online and has weekly contact sessions. Camera and microphone use are obligatory.
