Are you an international exchange student or international degree seeking student at the BEGINNING of your studies?

Then join our onboarding workshop "Welcome on Board" (English). We will conduct parts of the workshop together with students from the University of Hildesheim throughout your entire semester. So you are not alone and have sufficient opportunity to exchange ideas with like-minded people.

Please note:

The workshop consists of 4 sessions in total

We will discuss, experience and analyze various intercultural topics such as:

- Differences in the university landscape

- Our own cultural imprint

- Our (subjective) perception of the world

- Critical interactional situations

- The risk of stereotyping

Recognition:

International EXCHANGE (2 ECTS) and international DEGREE SEEKING students (up to 3 ECTS depending on their studying area in "Profilmodul/ Studium Generale/ Fundamentale"ACCORDING TO ARRANGEMENT!)

Requirements:

Participation (minimum 80%) plus reflection paper/ reflection video
