In diesem Seminar erkunden wir Verständnisse und Theorien von Community und Mobilität und diskutieren die Verbindungen zwischen ihnen. Wir erforschen (Im)Mobilitäten und Rollen in Communities. Dazu wenden wir verschiedene Methodologien an: Medien, Kunst, narrative Methoden, Fallbeispiele und Austausch mit Studierenden eines ähnlichen Kurses am Gordon College (Israel). Ziele: Transnationaler Austausch zu Theorien und Perspektiven der SOP, Community Building Ansätze, GWA, transationale Mobilität und SOP.
Aufgaben: aktive Seminarbeteiligung, mündliche Präsentationen / Essays / Reflexionen / kleine Projekte / Gruppenarbeit / Austausch mit den Studierenden des Gordon College (Israel)
Die online-Begegnung mit den Studierenden am Gordon College finden vorauss. am Sonntag, 25.04., 16:30 - 18:00; Sonntag 09.05., 17:30 - 19:00 und Sonntag 23.05., 17:00 - 18:30 Uhr statt. Dafür werden vorauss. andere reguläre Seminartermine entfallen.
Die Literatur für das Seminar wird auf Englisch und auf Deutsch sein und wir werden u.a. Deutsch und Englisch sprechen. Der Austausch von Perspektiven und Texten in anderen Sprachen ist explizit erwünscht.
We will explore understandings and theories of community and mobility and discuss the connections and repercussions between them. We will reflect our own and others’ (im)mobilities and roles within communities. To do so, we will use methodologies including media and arts, narratives exploration, case studies, and exchange with students of a similar course at Gordon College (Israel). Assignments: active participation / oral presentations / essays / reflections / small projects / group work / exchange with students at Gordon College.
The online meetings with students at Gordon College are scheduled for Sunday, April 25th, 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm; Sunday, May 9th, 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm and Sunday, May 23rd, 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm. Other regular classes will be cancelled to make up for this.
The literature for the seminar will be in English and German and we will speak German and English. Sharing of perspectives and texts in other languages is welcome, too.
