The aim of this seminar is to examine project work / project management on an international level. The development from an idea to a project in an international context is the main goal of this seminar. During the seminar session, we’ll discover a toolkit for international project planning and management in the field of arts and culture. The students will work in small groups to develop a project that could be theoretically realized in an international context. Questions about mobility in our days, possible international funding structures as well as intercultural communication will be investigated. On a theoretical level the students will acquire knowledge on the definition of project work and strategic project planning and on a practical level they will work on the development of a project concept, including a cost and financial plan, a marketing and communication strategy as well as a timeline for their own projects. There is a possibility to work on the base of own professional experiences in the field, but it’s also possible to take the seminar to get to know the field of international project management as a working possibility in the future.
